Prayerful Eastertide greetings from Marbury!

After our solemn and festive celebration of Easter, we were taken by surprise by the announcement of the Holy Father Pope Francis’ death. We had been praying earnestly for him during his illness, and continue to pray for the repose of his soul. Our anticipation and prayers during the Conclave gave way to great rejoicing at the election of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV! There is such joy at having a shepherd again to lead the flock of Christ to green pastures and living water. Of course, we are thrilled and amazed to have an American Pope – our Sister from Chicago is especially proud of her native city.

As we continue this season of Easter rejoicing, we thank God for all His graces of this very eventful time. Each day we remember you and your intentions to Our Lord, as we sing God’s praises and pray Our Lady’s Rosary before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. May God bless you and Our Lady keep you!
